Meet Loann

I was born in Vietnam and came to Canada as a refugee baby, raised with the classic immigrant expectations: excel in school, get a safe job, make your parents proud. I followed the script and had a successful corporate career, but despite the achievements, I felt empty inside and “miserably comfortable.” I stayed caged in this state until I reached a point of total disconnection from myself and the world around me. This inner restlessness sparked my second life. I dived into personal development, spiritual practices, exploration back to my Buddhist roots, and eventually to a Vipassana Silent Retreat:  10 days of no talking, no reading, no writing, no eye contact, no electronics, and meditating 10 hours a day. ​On day 7, something shifted. I felt deeply connected to my body, my environment, and everything in between: energy. I experienced oneness. In that moment, I understood the truth behind the words: “We are all connected. We are all one." 

I realized my life was meant to be guided by spirit, not just traditional goals. Around the same time, I also discovered my innate gifts. It felt like a "remembering". Something that the deepest part of myself knew all along. I just needed to listen. From this point on, I made a promise to myself: every project, work or opportunity I took must allow me to use my innate abilities in service to others.
 

This promise led me back to Vietnam, where I served as Head of Sales & Consulting for an international startup. I used my natural gifts to guide me in hiring, leading, and scaling the startup from 8 to 50 people in just two years, resulting in a successful acquisition. ​The acquisition was a milestone, but the true success and the greatest reward was watching my team grow into confident leaders. The key to this success was because I stepped into my own gifts.

That experience taught me that success doesn't have to come at the cost of neglecting your Soul's mission. I recognized that our journey isn't just about achievements, but the positive experience I left behind in the people I worked with. This lead me to dedicate the next chapter of my life to helping others to unlock their innate power.
